Hello!
I recently moved to a new place with no gas, so I had to buy a cooktop and an electric oven. I got the Oasis cooktop, which is a standard, non-induction model, and I'm generally happy with it. But I'd never had an electric oven before. I used to live in a tiny studio apartment with an electric cooktop and a multicooker for baking. I knew electricity was a game-changer, though - my friend would feed me amazing mashed potatoes and casseroles, and I just couldn't get that same effect with a gas oven. Plus, my parents' home had an electric oven, and I'd always dreamed of having one in white or beige. So, I'm thrilled that I finally got the Krona ONORE 60 WH electric oven!
Where to buy and price
It's available at DNS for 30,000 rubles, but I found it for 22,000 rubles on some unknown websites. However, I wanted to see the product in person, so I ended up buying it at our local home appliances store, "Leader," for 28,990 rubles.
I'll provide the general specs below, but I won't include everything, or it'd be a huge block of text. I didn't include the cord length, since I had an electrician install it, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I also didn't mention the temperature probe or self-cleaning functions. But, to be honest, I didn't need them - I'm really enjoying the oven as is.
General specs:
Model: electric oven
Model number: KRONA ONORE 60 WH G2
Manufacturer code: [КА-00006178]
Primary color: white
Control panel color: white, black
Door color: white
Handle and door opener color: silver
Main features:
Installation: standalone
Cooking volume: 56 liters
Control panel material: glass
Minimum temperature: 60 °C
Maximum temperature: 260 °C
Fan for cooling: yes
Design and build quality
I was pleasantly surprised by the delivery and installation cost of 700 rubles - it's a great value. Everything was packed in boxes with a ton of bubble wrap. It looks great, even without the built-in oven.
I had a friend who's an electrician install the stove and oven for me, since the installer at the store had quit.
It looks amazing once it's installed! I'm still thrilled with my white choice after three months - it's spotless and doesn't show any lint. If the stovetop is flat and easy to wipe clean, then this would be a bit more of a hassle. I'm a big fan of light tones, they're just so uplifting!
Electric oven Krona ONORE 60 WH reviewsThe package includes a grill and a baking sheet. The grill is compact, easy to clean, and didn't get caked up on me.
The baking sheet is also easy to clean, but I learned the hard way to be careful with whole wheat flour - it's super sticky to the black surface. Now I prefer baking in a glass dish, which is way easier to clean!
But honestly, if you don't turn it on, a damp cloth or a paper towel will do the trick.
I have to admit, there are some downsides, but I'm not really bothered about them since I'm pretty physically strong. The door does require a bit of effort to open.
White convection oven where to buy 2026I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight the oven is - I managed to move it from the hallway to the kitchen all by myself.
Inside, it's a beautiful sight! Yes, I know it looks great when it's new, but I've been taking good care of it, and now it's still looking pretty good.
The user manual is really detailed, and it comes with a little booklet explaining how to use the oven. I haven't had a chance to try out the timer yet, but I will eventually - I just haven't cooked any dishes that require more than an hour (I'm cooking for one, so it's not that often!)
Here are the clock settings:
To be honest, you don't really need to read the manual - it's all pretty intuitive. I just had a quick glance at the different modes.
The manufacturer claims that the most popular mode is just the top and bottom heating elements, without convection and lighting, but I'm not so sure about that.
I've got to say, cooking with convection and lighting up the oven makes my dishes taste way better. And they look amazing, too!
I haven't used the grill function, to be honest - I'm not a huge meat-lover, and I'm not a big fan of ribs, but I'm curious to try it out. The defrosting feature is super convenient, though.
I love how easy it is to adjust the mode and temperature - just a simple turn of the dial.
My experience and impressions
I'm totally obsessed with this electric oven! I finally understand why people love them so much. And I'm not even kidding - I've been using the 'bake' function on my slow cooker to make pizzas, but now I'm hooked on this thing. I've been making pizzas like crazy, and I just can't get enough of them!
It takes just 11 minutes to cook a pizza at 180°C (that's what I've found to be the perfect time). Check out the pizza I made with frozen dough, mozzarella, and ham - it's a real treat. And this other pizza I made with just some marinara sauce, salami, spinach, and mozzarella... it was amazing!
I was blown away by how quickly this recipe cooks – just 15 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius, and it's perfect, not overcooked. And the fish and rice combo? Absolutely love it!
I was inspired to try making a pumpkin pilaf after seeing some gorgeous pics online, and I'm so glad I did. With the meat and sauce already cooked in the slow cooker, and the rice boiled, it was a breeze to put together. The result? Absolutely delicious and visually stunning, with the pumpkin not burning at all – just like the pics!
When I'm hosting friends over, this recipe is a lifesaver – I can whip up a massive batch of 'country-style' potatoes in spices. It's perfect for a crowd!
Why I prefer electric ovens over gasAnd let's not forget the star of the show – juicy chicken steaks with a creamy sauce and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Krona ONORE 60 WH oven - it's a real game-changer! The even heat distribution is spot on, and I love that I can easily reach in to check on my food without burning myself. Cleaning and maintenance are a breeze too.
Now that I've got this oven, I'm excited to try out all the recipes I never dared to attempt with my old gas oven. The energy consumption is a bit of a concern, though - my electricity bill is around 800 rubles at the end of the month, and that's a pretty significant chunk of change.
Wishing you all the best dishes!
