Obsessed with Komilfo's New Mango & Pineapple Chocolate from the Dubai Collection - Where to Buy

I've been searching for this new product from Komilfo at all the Magnit stores for weeks, and finally found it today. I know it's been available at Lenta for a while now, but I didn't feel like going there, and the initial price of 479 rubles was a bit steep.

Now, the tile has been delivered to almost all Magnit stores (at least in our city), at a more pleasant price of 349.99 rubles. Lenta has also lowered the price, so if it's closer to your place, you can check it out there.It's also available on WB, but at a higher price than in Magnit.

About the Dubai Style:

The thing is, Fix (the brand that created the Dubai Chocolate filling) released a new product this summer - Dubai Chocolate with Mango-Maqui Flavor and Airy Rice Bubbles. It doesn't have the usual ingredients for this type of chocolate, kataifi and pistachios, but it's still a chocolate. Komilfo and many other brands have just picked up this flavor and started releasing their own variations. So, they've put this tile in the Dubai Style series. Don't be put off by the series name - it's just a matter of following the trend, even if it's not a traditional combination of chocolate, pistachios, and kataifi.

I haven't tried the original from Fix, but I plan to. For now, I'll be evaluating the new product from Komilfo as a new product for me.Weight - 200 g

Ingredients and nutritional value:

The fruit mix in this chocolate bar is pretty basic, with no mango or passionfruit in sight. Instead, I got a bunch of flavorings and orange juice, but the taste of the announced fruits is definitely there and natural.I was really looking forward to trying this chocolate bar because of the passionfruit, which I'm obsessed with. I've had it in various products before, and it's always a game-changer.

Design - The packaging is classic, with a twist of Eastern flair. At the top, there's the Komilfo logo, followed by massive chocolate chunks with fruit filling, and then some chunks of mango and passionfruit. The packaging is seriously tempting - it's hard to resist a chocolate bar that looks this good.

On the back, you'll find all the necessary information about the manufacturer and ingredients.Inside, you'll find a layer of white chocolate with an orange fruit filling visible through it. On the front, there's a milk chocolate slab with chunks of varying sizes. The format is similar to the larger 200g "Russia Generous Soul" bars, but it's no surprise, given that the brands are from the same company.Of course, the chocolate bar doesn't break down into perfectly equal chunks due to its format, but that's not a problem.I decided to try this chocolate bar in a semi-frozen state, not too cold, but not too warm either. I wouldn't recommend eating it when it's straight out of the fridge, as it's even sweeter and melts in your hands.

When you cut into it, you'll find a layer of white chocolate at the bottom, milk chocolate on top, and two fruity fillings in the middle. The lower layer is thicker and creamier, while the top layer is more like a fruit puree. There are also crunchy rice balls mixed in, which look like passionfruit seeds, but they're actually a dark color. The fruit filling is my favorite part – it tastes just like passionfruit, with a fresh, juicy flavor and a nice tanginess. However, in the creamy part, I can taste honey, not just me, but my husband can too. It's weird, because honey isn't even mentioned in the ingredients.

The chocolate bar is tasty, but overwhelmingly sweet, mainly due to the white and milk chocolate, rather than the filling. The tanginess helps a bit, but it's still very sweet. Still, I enjoyed it – it's a perfect spring or summer treat that makes me crave tropical fruits. Comparing it to the Dubai Chocolate Bar is pointless, as they're completely different products with different formats. I'd love to try the Fix version, but it's several times more expensive.

My only complaints are that it's too sweet and the rice balls are unappetizing – they're not crunchy enough and feel like an unnecessary addition. Other than that, I enjoyed it!
