I haven't written a review for a gardening or plant care product in ages, but with the changing seasons, these types of products are suddenly in high demand.
As I'm gearing up for spring, I've been experimenting with different fertilizers to give my plants the boost they need.
Today, I want to share my experience with a fertilizer that I've been using to feed my beloved Hatiya plant.
Let's talk about the Joy fertilizer for indoor plants.
This fertilizer is the second one I've purchased, and I've been using it for a while now.
I actually stumbled upon it in a regular hardware store, not a specialty gardening shop.
The product comes in a 250ml bottle, which is a decent size for the price.
The price is 150 rubles, which is a great value for money.
Packaging:
The packaging is a plastic bottle with a unique pentagonal shape.
The entire surface of the bottle is covered with a sticker containing information about the product.
The front side has the brand name and product name, while the edges feature images of flowers.
The back side has the product composition, shelf life, purpose, and application instructions.
The cap is also plastic, yellow in color, and has a semi-transparent plastic lid with measuring lines.
Product composition:
The fertilizer contains lignosulfonate, which is a common ingredient in many fertilizers.
Description:
The Joy fertilizer has a dark color, very similar to iodine.
This concentrate needs to be diluted, which is exactly why the measuring cap is included in the package.
I have to say, this product has a pretty unique and distinctive smell.
How to use:
I've mentioned it before, but I mostly use this fertilizer for my beloved hibiscus.
Every spring, my little guy needs a boost, and he makes sure everyone knows about it.
This year, I've already given my plant two doses. For root fertilization, I measured out 15ml of the fertilizer and diluted it in 5 liters of water.
I poured it into a watering can and gave it to all my houseplants, including my hibiscus. This amount is enough for all the plants in my home.
This fertilizer really does wonders for the appearance of my plants.
I've seen some pretty dramatic transformations with this fertilizer, but nothing beats the two times I've used it on my struggling plants. Within a week or two, the yellowing leaves start to fade, and they're back to their vibrant selves.
Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of this stuff.
One of the things I appreciate most about it is how cost-effective it is – it really packs a punch without breaking the bank.
It's amazing how quickly it can revive a plant that's been looking a bit wilted.
