My Japanese Crossword Obsession - A Fun and Affordable Habit

summarizeEditor's Summary

I've been hooked on Japanese crosswords for years, and I gotta say, they're a great way to challenge your brain and pass the time. I love that they come in both color and black-and-white versions - the black-and-white ones are my favorite, no need for extra colored pencils, just grab a blue pen and get to work! I also appreciate that they include Sudoku puzzles, which are pretty straightforward. The variety of puzzles is impressive, with different themes and difficulty levels. You'll find the answers to the puzzles at the end, so you can check your work and learn from your mistakes.

I've been hooked on crosswords for years, and the Japanese ones are my weakness. I've been doing them for about a decade now.
I love that they come in both color and black-and-white versions. The color ones require special colored pencils, but I prefer the black-and-white ones because I don't need to use extra colors. I just grab my trusty blue ballpoint pen and get to work!
At the end of each newspaper, you'll find the answers to the puzzles. They also include some Sudoku, which are pretty straightforward. If you get stuck, don't worry - the answers are there too!
It's a great way to pass the time when you're bored. You never know what kind of picture you'll end up with, and it's a fun challenge to see how quickly you can color it in. The only downside is that they come out once a week, so you have to wait a bit for the next one.
You'll find the answers hereNewspaper crosswords are a steal - they're super cheap and easy to find. I'm talking under 30 cents per issue! That's a fantastic value for money, if you ask me.
And don't forget the Sudoku!
