summarizeEditor's Summary

I've lost count of how many times my husband and I have visited Moscow, but we always stay at the Izmailovo hotel complex. This time, we tried the renovated rooms at the 3-star Beta building, and we're hooked. The rooms are huge, cozy, and come with everything we need for a great stay. We love the location, amenities, and views from the room - it's a total steal for the price. The Wi-Fi is fast, the beds are super comfy, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We're already planning our next trip!

Hello everyone who's stopped by!
I've lost count of how many times my husband and I have visited Moscow, but we always stay at the Izmailovo hotel complex. It's just how it's worked out - about three or four years ago, after we got married, we went to Moscow to check it out (it was my first time) and booked a room at Izmailovo's Vega 4-star building based on a family member's recommendation. Since then, I've always chosen this chain, but only booked the 4-star Vega or Delta. I've always skipped the 3-star Gamma and Beta, but I wish I hadn't!
We love Izmailovo's location and amenities. Yeah, it's a bit far from the airport, but we took a car last time and it took over an hour to get to Vnukovo. We've tried staying at a hotel near the airport before, but it was a nightmare. So, we've stuck with Izmailovo ever since. This time, we were heading out of Moscow for a vacation and decided to come a day early to relax before our flight. I saw a new room type at Beta, which I hadn't seen before - a Comfort room with a wide bed. The renovation looked modern and appealing, even more so than Delta's 4-star rooms, so I booked it.BetaBetaThe price for our stay was 4,800 rubles per day (with a 20% discount using a promo code), totaling 3,840 rubles.
Discount promo codes can be found online. I got one from Yandex and another from a random search. On our way back, I booked Delta, thinking I'd check out Beta first. But I should've booked Beta for both trips - the room was amazing!
Parking costs 600 rubles per day, but you can find free spots along the road near Izmailovo.
We checked in quickly, with no queues. Check-in is from 2 PM, and check-out is by 12 PM.
When we had a choice of rooms on different floors, they asked which floor we'd prefer - higher or lower. We ended up with a room on the 22nd floor. But the view was pretty standard, just looking out at the neighboring hotel.
The room actually came with a brand-new, modern renovation that's a huge step up from the rooms we've stayed in before. Check out the Delta 4* Business Class for a comparison. DeltaDeltaThe king-size bed with crisp, white, and pastel-colored linens is my favorite part. I love sleeping here - it's so comfy and cozy, thanks to their bedding. Two blankets are the best). The reading light above the bed adds a warm glow, making the room feel even cozier. Plus, there's a fun rabbit picture on the wall. I love the yellow and gray color scheme - it's the same as my home decor. The room has everything you need: a TV, kettle, mini-fridge, safe, and a desk with chairs. There's a closet and mirror in the hallway, and the bathroom has a shower, hairdryer, and all the essentials. They even provide slippers, white towels, and fluffy bathrobes. Wi-fi is available. There's a water dispenser on the floor with both hot and cold water. I have to say, I didn't find any downsides to this place. From now on, I'll always try to book this hotel whenever possible. Honestly, it's better than the tired old 'Delta' (I hope they'll renovate it soon too).
This hotel is within walking distance to the metro (Partizanskaya station) and MCK. There are also several shopping centers nearby. We usually go to the one that's not right next to the hotel, but across the street - at Izmailovsky Highway, 71A (I couldn't find its name). It's got Teremok where we love to eat, and tons of sports discount stores (Lamoda Sport) and more where you can score some great deals. There's also the Izmailovo Kremlin and park nearby, with a pond. It's especially lovely during warmer months.
TeremokWe can eat at the hotel, but personally, we prefer other places.
I highly recommend visiting and staying here, but specifically, I'd only recommend the Comfort room with the new renovation. I think the Standard room will seem pretty basic and tired.
Thanks for reading!
