We've been living in a rental apartment with beds that were absolute nightmares to sleep on. I was determined to find a solution that would give us a good night's sleep without breaking the bank. After researching prices for quality mattress toppers, I decided to go for a full-fledged mattress instead.

I chose a well-established company, and our home mattress, HYPNOZ Foam Classic, has been serving us for two years now and hasn't lost its shape. When it was time to upgrade, I decided to try out the Hypnoz Spring Basic Mattress.

Hypnoz mattresses are made in the Moscow region and come with quality certifications, which gave me peace of mind.

Our mattress is 140 x 200 cm in size, which is a great size for our bed frame. The manufacturer offers various sizes, including different lengths, which is a nice touch for people with unique bed frames.

Just like our home mattress, there's a slight difference in size, specifically, the length is 4 cm shorter, at 196 cm. The manufacturer explains that if the size were exact, the mattress might not fit into the bed frame. For me, this difference wasn't a deal-breaker.

The price for our size is currently 6,300 rubles, and when I bought it, there was a sale, and the price was 5,800 rubles. I think the value for money is excellent, considering the quality and features of the mattress.

I ordered the mattress on Ozon, and the delivery was free, which was a nice bonus. The mattress is delivered to a pickup point rolled up, which is convenient. The mattress weight allows a single man to carry it home, so you don't need to worry about hiring a moving company.

There are visible identification marks with the name, so you don't accidentally open the wrong mattress. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail.

Comparing the rolled-up size of the mattress to the dimensions of a five-year-old elephant is quite a challenge, but I was relieved to find that it fit perfectly in our bed frame.

Martas is vacuum-sealed, which is great for shipping and storage. To open it, you need to carefully cut the plastic wrap in a few places. Be careful not to accidentally cut the mattress itself.

After cutting, there's a small hissing sound in the room as the mattress 'inflates', and it happens really quickly. By the time I put down the scissors and grabbed my phone for a photo, it was already 8 cm high.

According to the manufacturer, the mattress takes 12 hours to reach its full shape, but within an hour, it was already 13-14 cm out of 17 cm. We opened the mattress at 7 pm, and by the morning, it was fully ready to use.

There's no strong chemical smell coming from the product, and there's almost no smell at all. I was stoked to find the instruction manual included with the mattress. It covers the dos and don'ts for storing, using, and transporting the thing:

This mattress has a medium level of firmness, which I found to be perfect for my back. It's a coil-type mattress with independent coils, which means you won't feel every movement your partner makes.

There are 500 coils per sleeping surface.

It's got four layers: Eco Foam 1 cm, thermal insulation 0.5 cm, coil block 14 cm, and thermal insulation 0.5 cm. It's a one-sided mattress, which is great for people who like to flip their mattresses.

The reverse side is black, and you can see the coils, so it's pretty hard to mix up the sides. The cover is non-removable, has a nice texture, and feels pretty plush.

The top material isn't water-resistant, so you'll need to be careful when cleaning it. There are striped edging along the sides, which I think adds a nice touch.

There's a branded tag, and a tag with the name and key features. I was really pleased with the attention to detail.

My impressions:

I slept on the mattress for a week, and it's incredibly comfortable. My back doesn't ache, and the spinal support is top-notch. The springs don't creak at all, and the mattress is completely silent.

The springs are truly independent of each other. If one person is tossing and turning, the other isn't getting jolted up and down. The quality of the stitching, materials, and build is really impressive.

After 20 days of use, I haven't found any significant drawbacks. I'm really happy with our new mattress, and I think the value for money is excellent.
