How I Stayed Fit During Pregnancy - My Honest Review

summarizeEditor's Summary

Staying fit during pregnancy can be tough, but I found a few tricks that made it manageable. I used a prenatal workout app that had exercises tailored to my stage of pregnancy, and I also made sure to get enough rest and eat a balanced diet. My doctor was super supportive, and I felt empowered to take care of myself and my baby. It's not always easy, but with the right mindset and resources, you can stay healthy and strong throughout your pregnancy.

I used to combine my main job with working as a dance trainer, specializing in sports ballroom dancing. When I got pregnant, I remembered my sister's words: 'I couldn't even climb two floors by the middle of my pregnancy - I was gasping for air!' Since my sister also trains kids, I realized that my physical preparation before pregnancy was clearly not enough, and I needed to keep exercising even during pregnancy! Especially for nine whole months! By that time, all my muscles would have relaxed, and how am I supposed to deliver??
me dancing
I watched a ton of videos on pregnancy exercises, but the most logical and acceptable one to me was the course on the fitball, called "Preggi Puziki" Pregnancy Exercises! Its pros are that there are no loads on the legs, and I was exactly saving my legs because I was afraid of developing varicose veins. My family has a history of this issue.
me at 35 weeks
During the workout, there are explanations for each exercise, explaining how it helps the future mom and the baby at that moment! Besides fitball, these training sessions also use hand weights for the beauty of hands - that's a great bonus, I think!
Of course, it's hard for me to evaluate the complexity of the course for unprepared people. But nobody says you have to do everything on 100% from the very first lessons. You can take breaks! The course even says that these exercises are more challenging - if you're tired, take a break! So, I think everyone will love this course!
active swings
hand weights
back relaxation
stretching
My figure has only improved from this!
I didn't get winded at nine months and could walk for a long time, climb stairs, and even save my legs! I didn't get stretch marks and quickly lost weight after giving birth!
My pregnancy photos from the first to the last week are in another review.
I was working out from the first weeks of pregnancy to 8 months, three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). At 9 months, I was told not to have any close contact to avoid premature labor! I had to listen to that, of course.
Now, I'm easily doing other video lessons with Gillian Michaels! (Photos Before and After inside)
.I didn't lose any muscle mass in 9 months!
They didn't get a chance to recover (of course, I only took a one-month break).
Plus, during workouts, the body gets oxygenated, and the baby in my belly is living comfortably!
I also bought an air humidifier back then because I read that it's a must-have for pregnant women and kids!
Of course, any pregnant woman knows how much she wants to lie down and sleep. That's a given! I was sleeping a lot, especially in the last month! Everything needs to be done in moderation. Listen to your body. If something's bothering you, don't force it. It's better to take care of yourself!
I had partnered childbirth. If you're interested, you can read about it.
I'd really love to hear your opinions about this course. I couldn't find any reviews about it here.
If someone has tried or is trying it - please leave a comment.
I'd be happy to hear your thoughts!
