I'm all about creating a cozy atmosphere in my home, and I've found the perfect way to do it with this amazing pillow cover.
I've been using it for a while now, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. The natural prints and colors it adds to the room are just what I needed to take my decor to the next level.
Unfortunately, my trusty IKEA pillows were starting to show their age - the fabric was fraying, and one of them even tore. So, I set out to find a replacement, and I'm so glad I discovered this HOLSTART pillow cover.

The cover arrived in just a couple of days, packed in a super minimalist transparent bag with a EU barcode. It did the trick, keeping the contents clean and dust-free during shipping.

Everything checks out as promised. At first touch, you can tell it's synthetic fabric, but it's designed to mimic mesh - I love that about it.
The weaving's not super dense, but it's not see-through either.
No backing.
The fabric isn't super soft, it's actually a bit rough. Sleeping on it would be uncomfortable, but it's not meant for that anyway. So in this case, that's actually a plus – it'll last longer and won't wear out as quickly.
The main thing that caught my eye, of course, is the image of the green fern leaf.
This is an appliqué (or it might be thermoprint or a print – I'm leaning towards a print), and it's holding up well. The edges are tight and it's not coming undone anywhere. It was applied nicely without any bubbles.
It's done in a style that reminds me of watercolor, at least to me.
The manufacturer has a ton of pillowcase designs with different plant patterns, so there's plenty to choose from. I just needed one pillowcase, and I went with the fern design. I love this plant, actually – I even have a tattoo of it.
So, I prioritized that one. But I think when I need to replace the other pillowcases, I'll get some with other leaf designs too.
The quality matches the price. It's not incredible, but everything's pretty neat and tidy, and the seams are secure.
The zipper is thin and almost invisible. That's great, because this is a decorative pillowcase and a big, bulky zipper would be out of place.
It works smoothly, doesn't jam, and doesn't bunch up the fabric.
But there is one downside – it's a bit short. I get that it's not meant to be zipped up every day, but even on my first visit to adjust the pillow, the seam around the zipper started to fray a bit.
That's definitely fixable, but it's not exactly pleasant.
The one thing that really gets my hair standing on end is how this thing attracts dust like crazy - it's like a magnet for pet hair, fluff from blankets, and all sorts of other stuff.
Despite that, it looks really good and fits in with my decor perfectly.
And it looks great with all sorts of different colors.
Up close, you can see that the quality is pretty basic, but considering the price, I don't count that as a major minus.
Care is also super easy - I just throw it in the washing machine on a low temperature and it comes out looking brand new. The design doesn't fade, and there's no pilling or shrinkage.
