My Fixa Spice Organizer Experience: Not What I Expected

I recently bought a spice organizer from Fixa, and unfortunately, it's been a disappointment. Our kitchen cabinet is overflowing with spices - I'm talking 'don't even dare open it or everything will spill out' levels of spice storage. To be honest, I'm not a fan of this organizer, but I'm also not brave enough to tackle the spice mountain, as it's my husband's domain. He's the one who cooks, orders music, and manages all the ingredients, recipes (yes, he has a bookshelf with handwritten recipes), and spices. We get a lot of exotic spices from friends who know my husband's passion for cooking, and sometimes I think some of them will never be opened.

It looks cute, simple, and made of plastic, which I thought was sturdy. It has dividers and is organized like a little ladder. I thought it was convenient, but only for people with 20 spice packets or less at home. I wasn't expecting all my husband's spices to fit in it, but the small amount that did fit is now cramped and hasn't solved my problem. In fact, it's created a VIP zone where only 25 packets can fit, and they're stuffed in there like sardines. It's a mess!

The problem is that the spices in the open and closed packets are at the bottom, and the dividers are actually limiting the number of packets I can fit in the organizer, even though they do separate them. I'm repeating myself, but this type of organizer is perfect for people with a small number of spices or those who need to buy 10 of these to store their collection. Honestly, I was expecting more from this product.

The organizer looks nice and is well-made. It's durable, and I couldn't find anything to complain about in terms of quality. However, it didn't solve my spice storage problems, so I'll be looking for something else. To be honest, I was expecting more from this product.

Note that this product is eco-friendly. I think this organizer would be perfect for organizing a small first-aid kit, makeup bag, bathroom essentials, or even a collection of recipe cards, postcards, or calendars. Maybe it would be a great find for crafty people too. However, for my spice collection, it's a total letdown. In my opinion, it's not worth every penny. Pros: The organizer looks nice, is well-made, and is durable.Cons: It didn't solve my spice storage problems, and the dividers limit the number of packets I can fit.

I would recommend this product to people with a small number of spices or those who need to buy 10 of these to store their collection. However, for those with a large spice collection like mine, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Overall, I'm disappointed with this product, and I hope the manufacturer will take my feedback into consideration and improve their design.
