Dizzy spells and headaches? Not anymore thanks to Fezam—I'd give it five stars if it weren’t for one annoying side effect.

summarizeEditor's Summary

I tried Fezam when my autumn flare‑up hit hard, and honestly the relief was almost immediate – the pounding headaches and that dizzy, spinning feeling started fading within a couple of days. The capsules slide down easy, and the piracetam‑cinnarizine mix actually sharpens my focus, so I felt more alert at work. The downside? Taking it after lunch sends a wave of sleepiness that makes it hard to stay productive. If you can handle that drowsy side effect, Fezam is a solid, value‑for‑money pick for anyone dealing with vascular‑neurological symptoms.

.••★ Hey everyone! ★••

Fall… supposed to be the best season, right? Colorful leaves, crisp air, hot tea, a cozy blanket, a good book. But it’s also when my chronic issues flare up.

I’m here to tell you about Fezam, the med that calmed my autumnal vascular‑neurological flare‑up. First, a quick rundown of the product I’m reviewing.

INFO

Where to buy: any pharmacy.

Price at the time of purchase: 468 RUB.

Form: capsules

Active ingredients: piracetam + cinnarizine

Therapeutic group: nootropic

Manufacturer: Serbia.

The product comes in a fairly sturdy cardboard box.

Inside you’ll find the instruction leaflet and six blisters, each holding 10 capsules—for a total of 60.

THE CAPSULES

I found them pretty big. Swallowing takes a bit of effort, so I usually hold the capsule in my mouth for a few seconds to let it soften before I gulp it down.

Here’s Fezam side‑by‑side with Omeprazole‑Teva. The size difference is obvious.

The blisters are easy to handle, and the capsules pop out without a struggle.

COMPOSITION

Each capsule contains as active ingredients – piracetam 400 mg, cinnarizine 25 mg. Excipients – lactose monohydrate 55 mg, colloidal silicon dioxide 15 mg, magnesium stearate 5 mg. The shell is made of titanium dioxide 2%, gelatin 98%.

Before you start, read the leaflet and check with a doctor or pharmacist!

Indications for use.

Contra‑indications. Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Method of use and dosage. Oral. Standard adult dose: 1-2 capsules three times a day for 1-3 months depending on severity. Treatment course 2-3 times a year. Children (over 5 years): 1-2 capsules 1-2 times a day. Treatment course 1.5-3 months.
Adverse effect. Overdose.

More detailed instructions are available online. Now I’ll share my experience with Fezam.Like I mentioned at the start, it all began in the fall. My head started spinning badly. It felt awful, like my head was “floating.” Because of that I barely moved, barely walked (felt wobbly).
The weird part was that the dizziness only eased when I was lying down or sitting. The moment I stood up, it came back. I was admitted to the hospital, got IV meds, one of which was piracetam (the one in Fezam), and I felt a lot better.
After discharge, my neurologist prescribed Fezam at 1 capsule three times a day for a month. I, being a smart cookie, decided to take it twice a day—morning and evening)) And guess what, it actually works!
It’s been 10 days of taking the capsules, my head feels clearer, memory sharper, and best of all, the dizziness is gone! My head no longer “floats” or drifts where it shouldn’t. 😉
Side effect
Along with the good stuff, I did run into a side effect. I became really sleepy. Even after a solid night’s sleep, I’d take Fezam and feel like I could nod off. Unpleasant… especially in the first few days. Now it’s milder. I’ve figured this comes from cinnarizine, not piracetam! Either way, if you’re taking Fezam be ready for this. Sleepiness may show up or not – totally individual!

In short, I recommend the medication "Fezam". In my case it did the job and cleared up the VSD symptoms – the dizziness. If there hadn’t been the side effect, I’d give it five stars. But because of the sleepiness I’m pulling the rating back.
Thanks for reading. I really hope this helps you.
