Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap

I've tried a bunch of dish soaps, but this Fairy Mandarin one's become my go-to. It's gentle on my hands, yet tough on grease and food residue. The formula cuts through all the stuck-on mess, leaving my dishes sparkling clean. The Mandarin scent is a nice bonus - it makes washing dishes almost enjoyable. Plus, it's easy to use and doesn't leave any harsh chemical smells behind.

Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap Review: Worth the Hype?

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm a sucker for marketing, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I just can't walk past something new and interesting without giving it a try. This time, it was a new dish soap with a mandarin scent that caught my eye. I picked it up in a local Magnit cosmetics store, and offline, it was cheaper than buying it online. Plus, it's a 'product of the week' in Chizhik, although the volume is smaller. I used it for a week, and here's the deal - it's a solid dish soap that gets the job done. But is it worth the hype? Let's dive in and find out. I've got to say, the mandarin scent is pretty uplifting and leaves a nice aroma after washing dishes. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy bottle that's easy to hold and maneuver. It's also effective at cutting through grease and food residue, even when washing delicate items. And the price? It's competitive with other dish soaps on the market, especially when bought offline. The 650 ml volume is generous and provides a decent amount of soap for the price. The manufacturer provides all necessary information on the back of the bottle, including usage instructions and ingredients.

Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap Review: Worth the Hype?
Hello there! I'm a sucker for marketing, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I just can't walk past something new and interesting without giving it a try. This time, it was a new dish soap with a mandarin scent that caught my eye. Why not, right? Mandarin aromas always lift my mood, and Fairy has been around for ages.
So, Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap. I picked it up in a local Magnit cosmetics store, and offline, it was cheaper than buying it online. Plus, it's a 'product of the week' in Chizhik, although the volume is smaller.
Price was around 140₽ at the time of purchase, with all discounts included. Without discounts, it's almost 300₽, including delivery to Moscow, and it's not worth it. I mean, you can get a similar product for a fraction of the price.
Volume is 650 ml, and there's also a 430 ml version. You can find all the necessary information from the manufacturer on the back of the bottle, all nicely printed on a small label.
Fairy Mandarin Dish SoapThere's nothing new here, and I won't comment on the ingredients, as they're not that interesting to me. For me, the most important thing is that the dish soap works well and doesn't dry out my hands. A nice mandarin scent is just a bonus.
The flip-top lid opens easily and closes just as well. It seems like nothing out of the ordinary, but the plastic on the lid is a bit flimsy and starts to come loose quickly, so I usually leave the bottle open. It's just easier that way.
Fairy with mandarinThere's no problem with dosing or getting the soap out, and the bottle itself is easy to hold, even with wet hands. It doesn't warp or slip out of your hands.
As for the scent, it's lovely. The manufacturer calls it 'delightful', and I sort of agree. Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap has a pleasant fragrance with a clear mandarin note. Sometimes, I catch myself thinking I'm washing citrus fruits and their juice is dripping down my hands. There's a slight bitterness, but no chemical aftertaste – quite the opposite, I find myself craving mandarin.
I was really excited about the scent of Fairy Mandarin, but there's a catch - it only smells great straight out of the bottle, and during use, the fragrance is barely noticeable. For some, this might be a plus, but I'd prefer a stronger scent, like the Fairy with Lemon – I'm absolutely obsessed with that one. The good news is that it leaves no residue on dishes.
Fairy Mandarin Dish Soap reviewsThe Fairy Mandarin liquid has a richer color in the bottle, but in reality, it's not that vibrant - the tint is barely noticeable.
The Fairy Mandarin dish soap isn't the thickest I've ever used, but it's definitely thicker than many others. It's surprisingly economical, though, because it produces a great lather even with a small amount.
Dish Soap Fairy Mandarin reviews The lather is abundant and doesn't settle quickly, allowing you to wash a decent amount of dishes. As for effectiveness, I have no complaints - Fairy with Mandarin does a great job of cleaning dishes from grease and grime, and it's comfortable to use even in cold water, although it's more pleasant in hot water.
The Fairy Mandarin dish soap excels at cleaning grease off cookware, including pans and baking dishes. It also effortlessly cleans plastic containers.
Fairy Mandarin The Fairy Mandarin dish soap completely rinses off from dishes and leaves no streaks or residue, so you don't have to spend ages rinsing plates. In this regard, everything is perfect.
It's all great, but there's a downside, so I won't be buying it again. The Fairy Mandarin dish soap dries out my hands pretty badly – my skin is already quite dry, especially in the fall and winter, and this soap just makes it worse. After washing dishes, my hands feel coarser and there's an unpleasant feeling of tightness, so I always need to apply hand cream afterwards. I guess the composition of this soap just doesn't agree with my skin.
I didn't notice any more cons, but that's enough for me to decide I won't be repurchasing. I wish the scent was stronger, so I could get some aromatherapy benefits while washing dishes too.
Putting it all together, the Fairy Mandarin dish soap is worth considering, but only if your skin doesn't react to it. It does a great job of cleaning dishes and leaving no residue, but it dries out my hands, so I won't be buying it again, even though I loved the citrus scent – it just wasn't strong enough for me. For now, my go-to is still aos with cherry.
Fairy Mandarin Dish SoapThe Fairy Mandarin dish soap is worth a buy, but do keep in mind it's not super gentle on skin.
