The tube has a minimalist design, but that gradient gives it a unique touch, especially for someone like me who has multiple mascaras open and likes to use different ones depending on my mood or desired look. The brand and name are printed on the front.

What really caught my eye, though, was the gold foil on the tube - it's a nice touch, but mine's already got a scratch on it. I'm not sure if it's a deal-breaker, but it does give the whole thing a bit of a worn look.

The bristles are silicone, different sizes, the shape reminds me of a barrel, with short bristles on both sides and they gradually get longer towards the middle.The bristles are flexible, they don't irritate my eye. The capOne thing that really stands out about this mascara is how well it cleans up any excess product on your lashes, leaving just the right amount to give you a full coat of two layers.

APPLICATIONWith this mascara, your lashes will look natural no matter how many coats you apply. I usually layer it up to three coats, and even with three coats, my lashes look natural. There's no clumping or excess flaking that could get in the way of a seamless look. Each lash is separated, which is amazing. Even with just one coat, you can see a huge difference - my lashes look longer and more voluminous, and my eyes look wider. I love taking before-and-after photos to really see the difference this mascara makes. It takes me about five minutes to get ready in the morning, and it's totally worth the extra time to feel confident and put-together when I head out the door.

You'd think I'm using a ton of products, but the overall look is actually really dramatic. With this mascara, my lashes will look natural and effortless, without any dramatic effect, but still more noticeable than without mascara.Mascara Faberlic Mur Mur Noir with cat-eye effectI've gotta say, I'm really impressed with how this mascara comes off. I always use a gel cleanser, never a milk or micellar water, 'cause I don't see the point in extra cleaning if a gel cleanser does the job on its own. And after a milk and micellar water combo, you still need a foaming cleanser to get rid of any remaining residue, so I don't see the need to pay extra for something I don't really need for a quick makeup removal.

After just one wash, the pigment from my brows and lashes is completely gone without any tugging or stretching my skin. I only use cotton pads or a cotton disk to remove lip color, but I use a makeup remover wipe to take off eye makeup.

THE VERDICTThis mascara really impressed me with its quality. It looks great, makes my lashes look natural and more expressive.

It doesn't flake off or smudge throughout the day, and it doesn't get smudged on my upper lash line or leave a stain.

And let's be real, the price isn't exactly a bargain – I've seen similar mascaras on sale for way more than this.
