When city life gets the best of us, we head to Ferma!

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm always on the hunt for a quick escape from city life, and I've found a real gem just 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle - Ferma! This place is a working goat farm with homemade cheeses, cozy cottages for relaxation, a pool, and a kitchen serving up food that's just like grandma used to make, but with a personal twist. The drive to the city center takes around 30-40 minutes, making it an attractive option for a weekend getaway or just a relaxing time by the pool or in the cozy restaurant Senoval. The spacious territory features a restaurant, a pool with a sauna and bar, a farm with goats, and cozy cottages that are perfect for unwinding. I loved feeding the goats and collecting eggs - it's a total game changer! The food is seriously delicious, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. It's the perfect place to relax and recharge.

Hello everyone!
I'm always on the hunt for a quick escape from city life, and I've found a gem that's just 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle - Ferma! This place is a real goat farm with homemade cheeses, cozy cottages for relaxation, a pool, and a kitchen serving up food that's just like grandma used to make, but with a personal twist.
About Ferma
Ferma is located in the Voronezh region, Chernyshki. The drive to the city center takes around 30-40 minutes, making it an attractive option for a weekend getaway or just a relaxing time by the pool or in the cozy restaurant Senoval.
The spacious territory features a restaurant, a pool with a sauna and bar (which we didn't get to try in September), a farm with goats, and cozy cottages for relaxation. In the winter, there's an open ice rink.
The pool area is definitely a highlight, and I'm sure it's amazing in season.
We were there for the glamping and cottages, which is exactly what we came for - to spend the weekend in nature and wake up to fresh air. The glamping area is a cluster of wooden cabins under the branches of tall trees, creating a sense of seclusion and tranquility.
Each cabin has a small terrace with a table, perfect for chillin' and taking in the natural beauty. For an even deeper connection with nature, there are gazebos.
Breakfast is included in the room rate, and it takes place at the La Ferma restaurant. I've never been there without staying at the hotel, so I assume it's only for guests or pool visitors during the summer season.
There's a play area for kids, and its style fits right in with the rest of the place.
They also have a goat farm, which is basically a petting zoo where you can interact with and feed the goats. Since we were there without kids, this wasn't really relevant to us.
The villas
I'm a hotel room aficionado, and I'm excited to share my thoughts on the villas. We had a villa designed for a family or small group, with two rooms: one was a living area with a kitchen and a sofa bed, and the sofa was already unfolded and made up when we arrived, which was a nice touch since we hadn't requested it.
The second room was a bedroom, with just a bed and a small window, a conditioner, and a dresser. The kitchen had all the essentials for a snack or a cup of tea: a kettle, a microwave, three glass water bottles, tea, and sugar.
The bathroom was spacious and clean, which is a must-have for me. It was roomy but simple, with white towels, robes, a large shower space, and all the necessary hygiene items (shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush sets).
The basic quality standard was met, and I was happy with it.That's it.
I've been wanting to stay here for a night and walk around the grounds before bed, watching the sunrise over the city. The program was pretty packed, and I think two days is enough - there's not much to do here beyond that. The infrastructure and entertainment options are great, though (pool, restaurants, goat farm, and a hot tub for an extra fee). It's a perfect spot to unwind from city life.
Thanks for reading!
