A Space-Grade Electric Kettle That's Out of This World!

Let's face it, a standard electric kettle can look pretty bland these days. I mean, there are tons of options out there, and now you can buy one without even stepping foot in a store. I recently found myself in the market for a new kettle, and I have to say, I was blown away by the variety of choices. But, as I soon discovered, price isn't always a guarantee of quality.

I needed to get a kettle for my daughter, so I was paying close attention to prices as well as design. And that's how I stumbled upon this affordable option, priced around 2,000 rubles. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but I decided to give it a shot.

I'm showing you the kettle in action, so you can see some of the minor flaws (it's been sitting on the stove, which explains the grease splatters).

This kettle is a bit more clever than your average electric kettle, which can only be turned on or off. This one has some actual programs. It can heat water to different temperatures for various beverages. I was really impressed by the range of options - from 80 to 100 degrees Celsius.

I've been boiling water with this thing for a week now, and it's actually pretty cool. The temperature display shows you exactly how hot the water is getting, so you can keep an eye on it. I was a bit worried that it might not be accurate, but so far, so good.

And yeah, it's got this crazy LED light that glows like a spaceship. It's even lit up inside.

The interior is made of glass. That's probably a cost-saving measure, but it's not like it's a bad thing. I mean, it's still a great-looking kettle, and the glass interior is actually really cool.

Oh, and it's got this auto-keep-warm feature. It's like a thermos or something - it keeps the temperature stable for a bit. I was really impressed by this feature, and the small size is actually a plus for me. It's perfect for one or two people, and the only real downside is the lid.

Yeah, the lid doesn't open very wide, which can be a pain if you're trying to fill it from the tap. But for me, that wasn't a problem since I use bottled water. And it's easy to pour in. The spout is a bit annoying, though. I don't like those kinds of spouts because they can splash hot water if you're not careful. But this one's got a nice secure lid that stays put even when you tilt it.

I have to say, I was a bit concerned about the lid at first, but it's actually really sturdy. And the spout is pretty cool too - it's got a nice design that makes it easy to pour water without spilling a drop.

Overall, it's a pretty cool kettle. I mean, it's not perfect, but it's definitely a great value for the price.

And some, like me, might find the spout a bit dodgy. For comparison, I'll show you a kettle with a different spout. It was a few times more expensive, by the way.

I really like my black, stylish beauty Oberhof. It works quietly, but gets the job done, and it looks great too!!! (Update).It's also smaller than today's hero. But still, it's a fun, stylish one. Regarding the short spout, I have some grounds for concern because I've had a similar experience with a kettle in the past. The spout was just like this one, and I had to pour water into a cup while tilting the kettle. The lid was a bit flimsy, and when I tilted the kettle, the water would push against the lid, and it would pop off, spilling the hot water everywhere. When that kettle finally gave up, no one wanted to repair it because it would just go back to being the same problematic kettle. I had to hold the lid in place every time I poured the hot water. And if someone forgot, they might end up with a nasty burn. But this one's lid is sturdy and stays in place. Maybe it's just new, though. We'll see how it holds up over time.
