I've tried other cashback apps before, like Cashback and ChekScan. I was curious to see how Edadil compared, and I'm glad I gave it a shot.

One thing that really stood out to me was the sheer number of ads in the app. I get that they're necessary, but it's pretty jarring to see a full-screen ad right after you set up the app.

After that, the app asks you to log in with your Yandex ID. This is a pretty standard process, but I wish they'd made it clearer what info they'd be accessing.

The app has six main sections at the bottom of the screen: Home, Products, Cashback, Orders, Translations, and Menu.

Home. This is where you'll find giveaways, coupons, new discounts on items from our checks, cashback, and recipes with tips.

Products. The second section lets you see prices on various products and compare them to find the best deals. I'm not sure how accurate this info is, since I use the app for other purposes and rarely check this tab.

Cashback. For me, the cashback section is the most important part. I only use one offer where I get +1 ruble back with every check. The check section, where I can see my cashback balance and all the checks I've scanned using the green button at the bottom, 'Scan Check,' is where it's at.

Translations. Just the details on how much and when I've earned cashback, and info on when and where the funds were transferred.

I've got a few options: Mobile balance, T-Bank card, and Yandex Money wallet.

I've seen Edadil run promotions where they offer a cashback bonus that's 2-3 times higher if you sign up for a T-Bank card through them. Unfortunately, this offer was only for new customers, and I was already a client at the time of registration.

Discount Codes. Discount codes for specific stores, which you can show at the checkout to get a discount.

Giveaways. I was excited to see a Tamagotchi-style character that needs to be fed, and each season/month has a series of giveaways. To participate, you need to complete various tasks (watch ads, download apps, and sometimes solve puzzles, crosswords, or riddles). You earn points (heart icons, key icons, etc.) for completing these tasks, but honestly, it's a waste of time since winning anything is almost impossible.

On the main page, you'll find a button with the number of diamonds you've earned. Clicking on it will take you straight to the section with this feature.

Why do diamonds matter in the app? I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed to find out that the 1₽ per daily check deal is no longer active. But now, you can earn diamonds for every receipt you upload to the app. The number of diamonds you get depends on the total amount of your purchase, so it's worth keeping an eye on that. And if you log in every day, you'll get an extra 10 diamonds as a daily bonus. That's not bad, if you ask me!

You can use diamonds to buy coupons, participate in lotteries, or even get extra cashback. And if you're lucky, you might even win some real money!

I've only ever taken advantage of the 75-diamond cashback option once, where I get 1 ruble back for any receipts I submit within a week.

The process of earning and redeeming diamonds. I also don't bother with the special diamond-based promotions in the 'Deals' section, as they just don't offer me any real value.

Menu. The last section in the app is the 'Menu.' This is where you'll find cone-shaped cards and other duplicated sections, as well as settings.

I installed the Edadil app on my phone at the end of January, and the last receipt I scanned was on May 31st. Total number of receipts scanned: 32. Number of receipts that qualified for rewards: 22.

Over this period, I was able to save: 22 rubles for receipts with a discount + 1 ruble for each receipt and + 6 rubles for a receipt that qualified for both discounts - 5 rubles for one receipt from Monetka and 1 ruble for the standard discount, where scanning any one receipt within 24 hours earns you 1 ruble.

Currently, I have 3 rubles in my Edadil balance, and 25 rubles have been paid out because I transfer them to Yandex and the money arrives within an hour.

The minimum payout threshold in 'Edadil' is 2 rubles.

My biggest cashback I was able to get from just one receipt: Recently, I uploaded a receipt and then didn't log in to Edadil for several days. A few days ago, I opened the app and saw that my balance had +15.99 rubles. This cashback was from an offer of 1 ruble per receipt, and there was also an offer on Kinder products that I wasn't aware of, but it turns out that for the chocolate that cost 149 rubles, I was credited with a cashback of 14.99 rubles.

Final Verdict. I've used two other apps like this before, and let me tell you, they were a total letdown. One of them promised a cashback, but it was impossible to get, and the other just wasted my time. This app is somewhere in the middle – it's usable, but it's not exactly exciting. You can earn some cash, and that's nice, but the process is long and tedious. At least, though, you can redeem your cash on Yandex, unlike ChekScan. Yeah, there's a ton of ads and whatnot, but I'm not planning on deleting the app anytime soon. I still use it to scan receipts, and it's not just about the cashback for me. In a lot of stores, you get receipts via email or in their mobile apps, but sometimes you need a physical copy of the receipt, and that's where this app comes in handy. I can scan the receipt right after the purchase and forget about it until I need it again.

My rating is 3 out of 5 stars, and I'd recommend it with a 'maybe' because the cashback is decent and easy to redeem on Yandex. On the other hand, the app is flooded with ads and useless giveaways where you have a 1 in a million chance of winning something.
