BJulia Dish Dryer, Black, 40cm

This BJulia dish dryer is a total game-changer for small kitchens. It's compact, so it won't hog any counter space, and the built-in tray catches any water that drips off your dishes. Plus, the sleek black design fits right in with most kitchen decor. I've used it for a week and it's been a breeze to use - just place your dishes on the tray and let it do its thing. It's perfect for drying delicate items like glassware or fine china, and the tray is easy to remove for cleaning. I was a bit skeptical about its build quality at first, but it's held up great so far.

I have to admit, I never thought I'd be buying a dish dryer in my right mind. I mean, I figured it was just a fancy kitchen gadget that would take up space, and I'd just end up washing dishes and putting them away anyway. But after using it for almost six months now, I'm hooked!
I've got a tiny kitchen, and the only storage I have is two cabinets below the counter. The sink takes up about 50% of one of those cabinets, so the dish dryer was a lifesaver in terms of saving space. Plus, let's be real – I'm not exactly the most stylish person when it comes to kitchen design. I ordered my kitchen with a lot of customizations, but when it arrived, it was a bit of a disaster. The two lower cabinets were a nightmare to fit together, and the corner cabinet was a challenge to install. But the dish dryer has been a game-changer in terms of filling in that awkward corner space – it's like it was made for it!
Sorry, I'm not exactly the most articulate person, but here's what my kitchen looked like before I got the dish dryer.
I started thinking about getting a dish dryer before I even finished installing my kitchen. I did a lot of research online, and I was looking for a good value for money. This dish dryer was the cheapest option I found (around 1,200 rubles), so I went with it. I was tempted by the model with a built-in drain, but I figured it wouldn't be a big deal for me. Besides, I was trying to save some money.
When the dish dryer arrived, it came in a plain box with no Russian labeling. There was just a sticker that said 'dish dryer' and that was it.
Assembling the dish dryer was a breeze, but when I tried to attach the top and bottom parts, it got a bit tricky. I had to push them together with some force, which made me think it was going to break, but it actually fits perfectly.
The dish dryer comes in one piece, but not everything works as smoothly as I'd like.
Like, the tray for the boards – I think only boards are going to fit in there. It hangs from one side and feels secure, as it grips well.
The tray itself is simple, but it's the one place where I never have any dishes cluttering up the space.
My boards don't fit there, or they fall off, or they just won't stay put.
On the other hand, there's the compartment for forks and knives, the hooks
I'm still not sure what to make of this part. I don't use the hooks – to be honest, I barely even notice them. The compartment itself is pretty small.
I have to admit, I didn't even think about what it's really for. Maybe something long? In any case, I hardly use this part at all.
At the top, it's just a standard dish rack.
The bottom is wider - you can fit almost two rows of cups.
The drip tray is tiny and thin.
I didn't notice the number of drip trays when I ordered it, and I found out about them when I first washed the dish rack - there are two of them.
The build quality is great - it doesn't even wobble!
I'd add that everything looks stylish - I like how it fits in with my kitchen and seems to blend in organically.
Even with dishes - I like how it looks.
I've had this thing for around 5 months now, maybe even longer. I only washed it once during that time, but to be honest, my bad eyesight means I might not even notice if it gets dirty.
It's been in contact with water the whole time, and it's still perfect – no signs of rust or corrosion. Everything stays clean and black.
And yeah, it's metal, which is actually a bonus because I found another use for it – it can hold my tiny spice grinder, so I don't lose it.
It holds up well, as long as I don't accidentally knock it over when I'm washing dishes.
The best part, though, is that this thing is a dish holder. It's always full of dishes. Sometimes I don't even put them away in the cabinet – I just use them straight from the holder. I'll wash a dish, put it on the holder, take it off, wash it again, and so on.
It's super convenient – all my dishes are in one place, and it doesn't look like a mess because everything has its own spot. At least, that's how I see it.
I don't even remember how I lived without a dish holder before. Now it's an essential item in my kitchen.
