This lip balm has been a winter must-have for 15 years - and it really solves all my lip problems!

I've got a confession to make - I'm a total lip balm enthusiast. I've reviewed my fair share of lip care products, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. So, when it comes to the oldest and most reliable product in my makeup bag, I just had to share my thoughts. It's the trusty old Carmex lip balm that's been with me for years.

I still remember our first meeting - it was a cold winter day in London, and I was at the airport. My lips were dry and chapped, and I was desperate for something to moisturize them. That's when I stumbled upon a yellow tube of some unknown balm. Fast forward 15 years or more, and this little guy has been with me through thick and thin. I've had it in various flavors and textures, but one thing remains the same - it's always been a reliable companion.

Packaging

The classic yellow tube with a red cap and the Carmex logo is instantly recognizable. It comes in a standard cardboard and plastic packaging, but you can also get it in a 3-pack with different flavors or a 3-pack with the same flavor. The cap is a bit of a letdown, though - it's ribbed, which makes it easy to lose in your bag or pocket.

The packaging is a bit of a mystery to me - it's Polish, but I usually buy it in London, where it's widely available. The tube itself is small and unassuming, but the bright yellow color makes it easy to spot in my makeup bag or purse. The pointed tip is great for scraping out the last bit of balm.The Carmex logo is prominently displayed on the cap, and the expiration date is listed on the side of the tube - 12 months after opening, to be exact.

And that's it - the balm itself is just a simple squeeze-out of the tube. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done.

IngredientsI'm not sure if the ingredients are super eco-friendly or anything, but there must be something healing in there. At first glance, everything looks okay to me, but if there are experts out there, please let me know what's so magical about it.

My Experience with It

I've been hooked on Carmex lip balm for over 15 years, and it's been my go-to winter must-have. I remember buying it for the first time at the airport in London, and it's been a staple in my makeup bag ever since. I've lost count of how many times it's saved me from dry, chapped lips.

I really like how it seems to smooth out the surface of my lips and actually heals them. Would I recommend this product? 100 times yes, at least once to try it out. I've got friends who don't share my love for this balm, but trust me, if it saves you from dry, chapped lips once, it'll win over your makeup bag and become a permanent resident.

Will I buy it again? Absolutely, I sometimes just for the fun of it buy new fragrances. So, I'll definitely buy this product and I'm sure I won't be the only one.
