I'm totally obsessed with mascara, and I use it almost every day. I replace it about every 2-3 months. I first tried this mascara about 2 years ago, but it didn't blow me away at first. But last summer, I was shopping for a new mascara and saw this one on sale. I decided to give it another try, and let me tell you, it's a total winner. I'm not sure what made the difference, but it could be that my previous mascara was dried out or something. Or maybe I just finally figured out how to apply it the right way. I love that the mascara comes in a cardboard box. The box has all the necessary information and a large image of the product. The classic cylindrical design in a bright purple color is pretty standard, but it gets the job done.
The brush is a silicone cone-shaped brush with thin, pointed bristles. The bristles are flexible, but not too much. I've learned the hard way not to press the brush too hard against my lashes. It's better to sweep them gently and smoothly. I also have a weird habit of poking myself in the eye with this brush, but I'm pretty sure it's just my clumsiness.

I wanted a basic everyday mascara that would define my lashes without looking too done-up.
This mascara delivers. It looks great on swatches, and it's perfect for everyday use.
