My Take on Belita's BB Cream: Decent Sun Protection, But Not a Miracle Worker

Hello everyone, I'm excited to share my thoughts on the BB cream from Belita's Perfect Skin line. I've already raved about their face toner from this line, and I wanted to try something else from the same series.

I must say that I was quite curious to see how this product would perform, especially since I've been using their face toner with great results. The packaging is quite cute, with a pink tube and a 50ml volume. The lid is screw-on and easy to open and close, which is always a plus in my book.

The BB cream comes without a box, but the back of the tube has all the important information, including the composition, expiration date, and application instructions. I don't scrutinize the composition, but I'll quote it for you:

water, cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane, ethylhexyl stearate, glycerin, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, PEG-75 stearate, ceteth-20, stearate-20, caprylyl methicone, titanium dioxide, phenyl trimethicone, iron oxide, copolymer of hydroxyethyl acrylate/ acryloyldimethyltaurate sodium, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, betaine, plankton extract, perfumery composition, benzyl alcohol, methychlorothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, lactic acid

The BB cream has a super versatile shade, which is a light rosy-beige color. It's not too thick, but it holds its shape, and it applies smoothly to the skin. The scent is light and pleasant, which is always a plus in my book.

One of the things that I was looking forward to trying was the application method and expected effect, which are clearly marked on the packaging. This BB cream has a light-toning effect, evens out your skin tone, and improves the color of your face, leaving your skin looking smoother.

It's worth noting that the BB cream contains SPF 15, which is a plus. However, let's get to the test. I applied it to my hand to see how it works, and I was a bit disappointed. The BB cream managed to cover up some of the dark areas, but it didn't hide my freckles at all.

I've also tried using it on my face, and the results were similar. It didn't cover up my skin's imperfections, and it barely affected my skin tone or complexion. The only positives are that it doesn't dry out my skin and has SPF 15.

For comparison, I've included a collage of my face with the Belita BB cream and a Chinese BB cream. As you can see, the Chinese BB cream has a more noticeable effect.

Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the Belita-Vitex Perfect Skin BB cream. It's not a bad product, but it doesn't live up to my expectations. I'll definitely be using it, but I won't be buying it again.
