Aidrive, Moscow

I've lived in Moscow my whole life, and Aidrive is hands-down the best value for money in my hometown. Their prices are super competitive, and the quality of their products is top-notch. I've tried a few of their products, and I'm consistently impressed with the build quality and ease of use. It's a local favorite, and for good reason – Aidrive offers an unbeatable combination of quality and affordability, which is hard to find anywhere else in Moscow.

Avoid This Driving School at All Costs

summarizeEditor's Summary

I'm still fuming about my experience with this driving school. The instructors are a major letdown, and the whole operation feels like a waste of time and money. I paid for five lessons, but what I got was a bunch of repetitive drills and a whole lot of nothing. The admin staff is completely unhelpful, and it's a miracle I got a receipt for my payments. If you value your time and money, stay far, far away from this place.

Driving schools are all about the instructors who teach you how to drive, and in my experience, this one falls woefully short.
This place is a complete waste of your time and money, and I'm not just talking about the instructors.
I can only give an honest review of the two instructors I was 'passed on' to, and let me tell you, they were a disappointment. The worst instructor I had was the old guy on the blue car at the Mолодёжная/Крылатское metro stop. He spends the whole lesson on the training ground, not even letting you touch the gas pedal, constantly repeating 'don't scratch the bumper' - like, I'm not even close to scratching it with my short nails.
Even putting aside the annoying stuff, if this place actually taught you how to drive, I could've lived with it. But in reality, it's a total zero when it comes to learning actual driving skills. Five paid lessons spent repeating the same old drills - cones, turns, and straight lines - with the instructor taking breaks to smoke. I paid extra for a single lesson outside of the school, and it was worth 10 times more than what I got here.
The admin at the Аэропорт metro stop is also pretty rough, and our conversation didn't exactly make me want to recommend the school to anyone.
This school needs to get its act together and hire some decent instructors who actually know how to teach driving, as well as some friendly and competent managers who don't make you feel like you're wasting your time.
