Avant Skincare Primer: A Decent Product, but the Price Tag is a Puzzle

I've gotta say, I'm still trying to wrap my head around Avant Skincare. They're a British brand that's always popping up in European beauty boxes, but their prices are premium, and their products often feel, well, just okay. I've tried over a dozen of their products, and while they're not terrible, they're not exactly game-changers either. But hey, I'm always up for a challenge, so I decided to give their Refecting Collagen Touch Eslat Primer a spin.

The 30ml bottle costs a whopping 96 euros, which is a bit of a sticker shock, if you ask me. But hey, the packaging is nice – a clear, round bottle with a dosing pump. It's not fancy, but it's functional.

The primer itself is a lightweight, gel-like texture that's easy to apply and feels nice on the skin. It's got a neutral pH and claims to provide hydration and anti-aging benefits, but I'm not convinced. It's just a decent primer, not a miracle worker.

I was hoping to find something that would set it apart from the budget-friendly options, but alas, it's just another silicone-based primer with some emollients and emulsifiers. It's got collagen, which is nice, but it's not like it's going to turn back the clock or anything.

So, if you're looking for a decent primer with a lightweight texture, you can probably find something similar in a beauty box or at a lower price point. But as a standalone product, I'm not sure it's worth the investment.
