It's surprisingly light, even with the lid.
I was expecting it to be made of thicker metal, like those cheap pots and pans, but it's actually made of thin steel. However, it has a thick bottom capsule, almost 1 cm thick, and hollow steel handles. The lid is made of tempered glass, which is slightly thinner than usual, but according to a review on Irecommend for a similar pot with a larger capacity, it's quite durable.
It's really comfortable to hold and use, and I'm not worried about accidentally knocking it off the stove.
Bottom
The handle attachments seem pretty solid, and the glass lid has some extra padding for added protection.

Some nuances>>
I was a bit concerned when I first took the pot out of the packaging and caught a whiff of metal - it's just a minor thing, but it did make me pause.
I was relieved to see that the packaging includes a 'ST' mark, which put my mind at ease.
When I saw the "СТР" mark, I knew the product had passed Russia's state standards for quality and safety.
For a buyer, it's a reassuring sign.
I thought maybe the stainless steel was polished and some metal dust might be left behind. I washed the pot with a soft sponge and soap, but it didn't help.
However, after four boils, the metal smell disappeared, so I guess that was just a new-product thing.
I didn't notice any metal taste in the food, and the water didn't turn brown either.
The second thing I noticed was that our tap water is heavily mineralized. Even after passing through a filter, it leaves a white residue on the bottom of stainless steel pots.
Some housewives freak out when they see a white residue on the bottom of their new stainless steel pots. For me, it's just normal.
I've seen it in my old German heavy-duty stainless steel pots, Italian ones, and even enamelware – the enamel eventually gets rough.
The same thing happened with my Atmosphere pot after boiling lentils.
I could scrub it with an abrasive sponge, boil it with lemon juice to shine it up, but I don't see the point.
I just filled it with water, added the next batch of grains, and it was fine.
This is calcified residue. If it were rust, that'd be a different story.
The third thing I noticed was that the lid fits and comes off easily. It has a convenient handle, and a decent steam vent.
However, if you need to leave it slightly ajar, it'll slide down and get stuck in the pot over time, like many other pots have.
It's a bit lighter than standard lids, so consider this when cooking – either open it wider or place it on the handle.
The fourth thing I noticed was that the handles are hollow. They cool down quickly. If you're not boiling at the bottom, they'll heat up moderately.
However, if you simmer for a long time, they'll barely warm up.
The bottom is stable on any gas stovetop grate.
Visually, it's a bit larger than I expected.
Compared to a one-liter mug
Compared to my old 2-liter pot, this one's a game-changer.
The takeaway is clear: Atmosphere Omega's 1.4-liter stainless steel pot with lid has won me over.
I'm obsessed with how lightweight and ergonomic it is, with big, comfortable handles and a thick, capsule-style bottom. It heats up super fast, and it's a breeze to clean.
I've been using it nonstop, and it's become my go-to pot.
I highly recommend it!
