A Week with Fake Lashes and a Game-Changing Adhesive

I've been meaning to write about this lash adhesive for ages, but I just couldn't be bothered. I bought it based on the rave reviews on IM WB, and considering the price, I thought it was a no-brainer. So, I finally got around to buying it.

I initially wanted to wear the false lashes for a few days in a row, like some of the reviewers suggested. But in the end, I mostly just applied them for one day, for special occasions, and then removed them.

In this review, I'll be sharing my thoughts on the adhesive's properties, how long it lasts, and how to use it without ending up lash-less.

The adhesive comes in a cardboard box with a Russian-language label. The actual adhesive is in a small glass vial. There's no applicator brush, but that's not a big deal – I'll explain why later.

The adhesive has a medium consistency – not too runny, not too thick. It's easy to apply, and you can even apply it to a clean surface and then transfer it to the lashes. It's not instantaneous, but it's not too slow either. With practice, you get used to it.

I've been using this adhesive for a while now, so I can give you the lowdown on how it works for me. To start, I'll explain how I apply it.

Of course, before applying the adhesive, you need to make sure your lashes are clean and dry. I just wash my face and I'm good to go. I apply a small amount of the adhesive to a flat surface, and then I use it to attach the lashes. I usually apply the adhesive to the bottom of the lashes, as it seems to give a more natural look. And, just like with most adhesives, you need to wait a few seconds for it to set before applying the lashes. I use a pair of tweezers to help me get the lashes into place - it's way easier than trying to do it by hand. The key is to be gentle and not to get any of the adhesive on your skin, as it can be pretty painful.

I actually bought these lashes from AliExpress, and I was a bit skeptical about how they'd turn out. But, I was pleasantly surprised - they're really natural-looking and they're super affordable.

Now, let me tell you about my experience with individual lashes. I've used this adhesive to apply individual lashes for a few different occasions, and it's worked really well. I just apply a small amount of adhesive to the lash band, wait a few seconds, and then apply the lash to my eye. It's really easy to remove them at the end of the day, too - I just use a bit of force and they come right off. I've never had any issues with them staying on too long or being hard to remove.

I decided to leave them on for a few days straight, so I made sure to let the adhesive set for a day after applying the lashes. I didn't wash my face or get them wet, and to my surprise, they stuck like glue. I went about my daily routine for a week, and they stayed put. When it was time to take them off, I gently removed them with a makeup remover, and they came off easily. But for the last 4-6 lashes, I had to use a bit of force, and I ended up pulling out half of my natural lashes in the process. It was a nightmare! I tried to use oil to loosen the adhesive, but it didn't work. I was devastated to see my lashes falling out, especially since I'd been growing them out with a serum from Hlach for two months. Thankfully, they've all grown back now, but I'll never use this adhesive without a remover again.
