I ended up choosing one, and today's post is all about it: Anna Sui Fantasia Mermaid.Anna Sui Fantasia Mermaid is a refined and mysterious scent for women. The first whiff and my immediate thought: it's almost New Year's! For me, this perfume is all about the holiday season.SO, WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH?
First of all, the bottle design... it's so pretty you could even use it as a mini Christmas ornament (if you've got a small bottle, that is).
The bottle itself is a work of art - it's stunning, enchanting, and just plain magical. It's executed flawlessly... And, of course, I wanted to have it in my perfume collection. Just look at this original glass bottle design - it's so cute and charming.
In this original bottle, there's a pleasant blue-colored liquid. The perfume cap is adorned with a beautiful mermaid, and I immediately pictured a crystal-clear, playful, and undoubtedly fairy-tale-like scent in such a magical packaging.
And here's another reason why Fantasia Mermaid reminds me of New Year's: the first spritz and there they are - those juicy, vibrant, and delicious mandarins and huge, juicy oranges: reddish and extremely aromatic.
When I peel an orange, I always rub the skin to extract the essential oil, which fills the air with a fresh citrus scent. And that's the scent that's loved by many, and it's accurately captured in this perfume. That's the scent of New Year's.

So, what's the magic scent hiding in this enchanting bottle?
The scent turned out to be citrusy, fresh, and festive. It puts a smile on your face and creates a wonderful atmosphere.
The perfumery pyramid is simple, but for me, it's a success. None of the notes here annoy me. And the scent as a whole - I like it.
If you thought it was just oranges and mandarins, you're wrong.
Even in the top notes, spices are added, which add a sharpness and a certain charm to the citrus - this is cardamom and pepper. I immediately heard the sharpness of the pepper, but I didn't guess the cardamom.
I'd call this scent citrus-floral-woody, because all these notes sound great in the trail and on the skin. And also, for me, it's slightly aquatic. It sounds so clean that this aquatics and cleanliness are felt almost on the skin.
And without flowers, it wasn't possible either. Flowers are right at the heart of the scent. This is jasmine and peony. Jasmine is just a drop, but the peony is a real decoration of the scent.
You can hear the note of lychee too, but not immediately. I isolated it only after a few minutes of the scent being on my skin. And this is the most - fresh, slightly sweet, rose-pink lychee scent that you can fall in love with forever. It doesn't make the scent sound monotonous.
What else? The scent has a great base!
The woody base notes make the scent soft, slightly sweet, and slightly damp. Thanks to them, the scent doesn't sound cheap and simple. A pinch of powdery vanilla + a drop of honey for balance, and here's the perfumery formula Fantasia Mermaid.
Fantasia Mermaid - don't miss this perfume! It's a beautiful bottle, bright splashes of juicy reddish oranges and sweet mandarins, with spicy notes of spices. It's a waltz of flowers and juicy fruits that creates a gentle aura of freshness and relaxation around you. It's a noble musk-woody base that adds depth and warmth to the scent.
The perfume turned out to be very pleasant. It puts you in a state of some kind of euphoria, happiness, I'd say - it's a state of elation. There's nothing complicated in it. It doesn't annoy, it doesn't get on your nerves. It will be understood by everyone and everyone. It's easy to perceive. A few spritzes and it's a festive atmosphere.
I've got to say, this makes a fantastic gift for a girl on New Year's.
Long-lasting scent.
The fragrance stays on my skin for over 7 hours, and on clothes for several days. For a body spray, that's amazing.
I'd highly recommend this original variant of body spray.
