Mini 7-Day Croissants with Wine Cream

I'm a sucker for a good croissant, and these bite-sized treats do not disappoint. The combination of a rich, creamy wine filling and a flaky, buttery texture is absolute perfection. Plus, they stay fresh for 7 whole days, making them a great option for a quick breakfast or snack on-the-go. I've had mine for a few days now, and I'm still hooked from the very first bite.

Mini Croissants with a Fizzy Filling: Not My Cup of Tea

summarizeEditor's Summary

I tried the mini croissants from 7Days with a fizzy filling, but unfortunately, they didn't quite live up to my expectations. The packaging was nice, but the taste was a letdown. I was hoping for a more pronounced sparkling wine flavor, but it was pretty subtle. The calorie count is a bit high, too - around 170 calories per croissant. I don't think these mini croissants are worth it, but everyone's tastes are different, so you might love them!

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share my thoughts on the mini croissants from 7Days with a creamy filling that's supposed to taste like sparkling wine.
I've never been a huge fan of these little pastries, but I decided to give them a try - after all, who doesn't love a good croissant?
Unfortunately, these mini croissants didn't quite meet my expectations.
The packaging is really nice, though - it's compact, foil-wrapped, and has a great design that looks good from both the front and back.
The ingredients are a mix of pastry dough and creamy filling, with a hint of sparkling wine flavor - I was hoping for a more pronounced taste, though.
As you'd expect from a pastry, the calorie count is a bit high - around 170 calories per croissant.
I didn't count how many croissants were in the pack, but I think there were around 15 - a good amount for a snack or a quick breakfast.
When I opened the package, I was a bit disappointed by how the croissants looked - they're not as neat and uniform as the picture suggests, and they're super easy to squish, which makes them look a bit messy.
The aroma is pretty nice, though - you can smell the sparkling wine hint from the package, and the croissant itself has a sweet, doughy smell.
The filling is pretty sparse, taking up about a third of the croissant and sitting in the center - it looks like a thick cream.
When I took a bite, the filling was actually pretty nice - it wasn't too sweet and had a nice, creamy texture. There's a hint of fruitiness and a slightly alcoholic aftertaste that's supposed to be like sparkling wine. However, I'm not a fan of the chemical aftertaste that's a bit too reminiscent of sour wine.
The croissant itself is soft, airy, and tastes great - but they're best consumed within a couple of days, or they start to lose their appeal.
I was excited to try this new flavor, but unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to my expectations - the combination of the chemical aftertaste and high calorie count made it hard for me to enjoy.
Thanks for reading!
