5-Minute Hair Magic: Rowenta Blow Dryer Brush Review

I'm super excited to share my experience with hair styling, specifically with blow-drying and styling.

For a long time, I've been using regular blow dryers to dry my hair. My dream was to learn how to style my hair with a blow dryer and a round brush, just like they do in the salon after a haircut.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't get it right.

I had a whole collection of round brushes in different sizes, but none of them worked for me.

Firstly, my hands would start to hurt after a while, and secondly, my hair would get tangled in the brush. It was more of a struggle than a styling session.

So, when I saw the Rowenta blow dryer brush at the store, I knew I had to have it. Although, I was initially looking for an epilator.

This blow dryer brush has been my go-to for almost 5 years now!

The blow dryer consists of two parts: the main unit with the built-in motor and a removable brush.

The speed button. It's got two speeds, and it's super easy to switch between 'em. I always end up using the second speed, though.

I've gotta say, I'm a little worried about dropping this thing - it's got some pretty sharp edges, and I've already had a close call with my cat. You can use it as a regular hair dryer, but let me tell you, it's way more effective with the brush on.

Plus, the cord has a little loop at the end that makes it easy to hang up.In my hand, it feels really comfortable and well-balanced. Each button is perfectly placed for easy access.

Prepping my hair. I use the blow dryer on clean, slightly damp hair. Before using heat styling tools, I always apply a heat protectant spray.

My go-to tools for drying and styling:

To detangle, I just reverse the direction of the blow dryer brush.I've got the same level of power from this blow dryer brush as I do from my regular blow dryer, and the noise level is standard for a device like this. My hair dries quickly, and it gives me the style and volume I'm looking for.

The better I blot my hair with a towel before blow-drying, the less time I spend styling with the blow dryer brush.

This dryer has been a lifesaver when I've had a bad hair day. I'm sure other girls with oily scalps will understand what I mean - my hair would get greasy faster than the length of my hair. There have been times when I've had to rush out the door and I'd wash my hair under the tap, use the dryer brush to style it, and then tie the rest of my hair up in a ponytail or use a hair clip. It looked pretty good, if I do say so myself.

I think the Rowenta dryer brush is perfect for girls with structured haircuts like a ladder or a cascade.

I've got a ladder haircut right now and I think this dryer does a great job of keeping my hair looking neat and voluminous. The dryer really brings out the shape of my haircut.

The final step in styling my hair with the Rowenta dryer brush is to apply some hair serum to the ends of my hair, which gives it a smooth and shiny finish.

After styling my hair, there's always a bit of hair left on the brush. Luckily, the bristles are spaced out just right, so it's easy to clean it by hand or with a long detangling comb. I use damp cloths to wipe down the spaces between the bristles.

WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF THE DRYER BRUSH?

?THE VERDICT?

Despite the dryer being a bit bulky, it's actually really easy to use and my hands don't get tired. Drying and styling my hair takes a fraction of the time it would if I was using a regular dryer and a round brush. In under 10 minutes, my wet, tangled hair is looking salon-fresh.

I'd definitely recommend buying this!
